- Closed-cell urethane foam and rigid Thermax foam insulation keeps the bedroom cozy in the winter and cool in the summer
- Precise framing and drywall edges create clean lines where roof rafters and walls have settled over the years
- Custom cabinetry and bookcases provide much-needed storage and display space
- The new reading alcove is a serene place to escape into a book
- New Hickory flooring invokes natural beauty and warmth
- Mismatched doors, doorknobs, and cabinet hardware have been replaced for a unified look
- 1970s millwork has been replaced to match the original 1920s trim
- A combination of bookcases and open railing create storage while bringing sunlight down into the stairway
- Ill-finished closets now have bright lighting and matching floors
