Diamond Lake Kitchen

Story:

Before: The large kitchen was dated by honey stained oak cabinet boxes, peeling laminate cabinet doors, laminate countertops, and an awkward layout that restricted the flow of the otherwise open space.

After: A newly updated kitchen in a classic look that fits with the original character of the home, and a lighter, more relaxed layout to entertain friends and family.

Highlights:

  • Reworking existing cabinet boxes and supplementing with new made room for updated appliances, better traffic flow, and more seating
  • Expertly refinished cabinet boxes and locally fabricated cabinet doors allowed for significant savings over a total remodel
  • Custom-fit rollouts, trash bins, oversized pot drawers, and new Amerock door hardware add glamour and functionality
  • Andino White granite countertops provide contrast to the newly refinished darker cabinetry
  • New lighting plan both updates and illuminates
  • Crisp white subway tile backsplash packs a lot of punch
  • Seamlessly patched hickory floors where cabinets were removed
  • Thoughtful millwork details flawlessly executed
